Dr. PC Manoj Kumar a distinguished alumnus of Ayurveda College, Coimbatore is a reputed Ayurveda Consultant and is one of the pioneers of developing Ayurveda multi-specialty hospitals in Kozhikode.
He is the referred to as the authority for the treatment of Spine Related Diseases like IVDP, Disc Herniation, Bone, Joint and Muscular Diseases like Osteoporosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, Neurological Diseases like Parkinsonism, Alzheimer’s Disease, Stroke Rehabilitation and Chronic Skin Diseases like Psoriasis.
Dr. Manoj Kumar inherited the Ayurveda expertise from his paternal family which practiced Ayurveda for more than five generations specialized in Nethra Chikitsa (Ophthalmology). The signature combination of academic education with traditional Gurukula system of Ayurveda at Ayurveda College Coimbatore helped in the molding of Dr. Manoj Kumar into a complete Ayurveda professional capable of integrating modern technology with traditional authentic Ayurveda treatment methodology. Dr. PC Manoj Kumar, after graduation got trained under the tutelage of renowned scholar Sri. Alathiyoor Nambi, belonging to the famous Kerala Ashtavaidya lineage.
Dr.PC Manoj Kumar started his career as a physician with Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd. and successfully established and managed the full- fledged AVP hospital in Kozhikode for 10 years as the Hospital-in-Charge. He was a senior physician with AVP when he ventured out to start his own Sakalya Ayurveda Hospital. Under his inspirational leadership the institution has grown to become Sakalya Ayurveda Group of Institutions with three multi-specialty hospitals, clinics and various other Ayurveda related activities.
A staunch promoter of scientific Ayurveda, Dr.Manoj Kumar is a core member and office bearer of almost all prominent Ayurveda associations. As Kozhikode District Secretary of Ayurveda Hospital Managements Association and state committee member of Ayurveda Medical Association of India he is one of the chief promoters of the Ayurveda insurance scheme. He is also the founder and Managing Trustee of Cardia (Centre for Advanced Research and Development of Ayurveda). He is also the executive member and director of The Kerala Ayurvedic Cooperative Society which manufactures genuine Ayurveda medicines and has a heritage of more than 60 years.
